Spiritual Gifts can be a confusing thing. Some say that the lists in scripture are exhaustive, others that they are not. Some think that all the list in scripture should be combined, others that they should be separated. Some think you need to manifest certain gifts as a sign of your salvation others think if you manifest those same gifts your a fake or worse being influenced by Satan.
Anyway, I won’t dive into the controversy here other than to help clarify for yourself a little bit.
www.gifttest.org has a free test that will let you know what your gifts from Romans 12 are. I believe the author has the understanding that Romans 12 gifts are for part of God’s common grace to all humans and therefore each person has at least one with exceptional leaders having higher amounts of all seven. That the 1 Corinthians 12 gifts are from the Holy Spirit and are an example of a special grace for believer’s to build up and encourage other believers and that the Ephesians 4 gifts are from Jesus Christ for the building up of the church. I think it is helpful to become more aware of who God has created you to be and how he has gifted you.
